1. Introduction
The Kufeah app («the App») is in its launch phase: it is being released first on the Apple App Store, then on Google Play (Android), and provides content about Palestinian heritage. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. This policy explains what applies to the mobile app only: what data we may collect or process, how we use it, and your rights. By downloading and using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. The App and App Stores
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store (first platform) and then Google Play. It may not be available on both stores at the same time during the launch period. Download and payment (if any) are subject to Apple’s and Google’s respective policies and terms. Any data that Apple or Google collect in connection with your downloading the App or using their services (e.g. Apple ID or Google account) is governed by each company’s privacy policy and is not under our control. 3. Data We Collect in the App
- App content: The App displays content (text, images, recipes, etc.) loaded from our servers for you to view. We do not collect personal data through this unless the App offers sign-in, contact forms, or similar features.
- General technical data: We may receive or collect general technical data (device type, operating system, interface language) to ensure the App works and to improve it, without linking it to your identity where possible.
- Permissions: If the App requests permissions (e.g. storage or network), we use them only for the purpose stated at the time of the request and do not use them to collect additional personal data without informing you.
4. How We Use Data
We use any data we collect to run the App, deliver content, improve performance and security, and respond to your enquiries. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Storage and Security
We store data on secure servers and apply appropriate measures to protect it. Communication between the App and our servers uses secure protocols (HTTPS). We cannot guarantee the security of the internet or your device; protecting your device is your responsibility.
6. Third Parties
We may use third-party services to run the App (hosting, databases, analytics if any). Those services have their own privacy policies. We choose providers that meet appropriate standards. Apple and Google may also collect their own data when you use the App or their stores; that is governed by their policies.

8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child below the applicable age (e.g. 13 in some regions) without parental or guardian consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the «Last updated» date at the top. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the changes. If changes are significant, we may show a notice in the App or via the store where possible.
